Watching “Tolkien” and trying to remember what I
read back when it was easy to read n the images
of WW1 trench warfare in Europe during the early
1900’s raised two easy questions: After the AXIS
was ‘destroyed’ n the 20’s roared thru, how could
someone think kicking in a Second one was near
a good idea?

Yet, after the AXIS was defeated again and Japan’s
military capabilities were soundly shut down when
they went up in a flash, altho’ it was no Auschwitz,
hundreds of civilians died; so why did Korea and
Vietnam n the bits and pieces in the middle-east
not play out as well, since we’re good at what we
know, and we know…
