I voted, I was for s Republican. I registered just to vote for him, and repeatedly did in all his subsequent elections. I switched to Independent after he retired. Now I vote Democratic almost exclusively. It comes down to a choice between rationality vs. craziness. So, I switched parties gladly.

My first registration was Peace and Freedom so they could get on the ballot. You know, Vietnam. Later I got drafted and 8 months in country for no reason I ever figured out.
