Was “between each child” meant to mean the
time between the birth of the first child, and
the birth of the second child, or were you
questioning if each child was ‘treated the
same’ after their entry in life?

To answer the latter: No, each child was/is unique,
and as a matter of nature, was ‘treated differently’.

The first was born premature, and did not
have the bulk and height of the younger
sibling, but was more compassionate,
and a quick study…
