I wonder where US would be if we had not gotten to Von Braun n his crew before the Soviets could get him, considering how the USSR had a jump into space and had everyone concerned about Sputnik I and Sputnik II and a little puppy dog they sent up and brought back. Alive !! and all the other stuff US had to play catch up to, too.
