has it become dangerous to take a child ice-skating in
America, or to church in America, or to synagogue in
America or to school in America or to a public event
in America, but it’s OK to play political anger n hate
with such ease, if you please?

I may be wrong, but I feel there’s

The gunman killed his wife and shot two of his kids before turning the gun on himself. He shot his third child - who is currently hospitalized
