What happens when enough wealth is spread around to enough people that even they begin to forget -
I still find it amazing how many ‘Christian’ foke were so ready, at the behest of Pope Urban II, to take up arms against the sea of Muslims in 1096; burning, raping, pillaging, and murdering across Egypt n the Middle East for three years with very little regard to age, gender or utility, when it had only been a little more than 1000 years have passed since BC ended…
and now, here we all are and it’s only been a little less than 1000 years since the age of the Crusades has passed.
Seems as if our collective spiritual growth has not nearly kept pace with our technical abilities to destroy n kill.
