Woke up at 6:30 AM to shower, dress, take in nourishment and then compete with traffic for 20 minutes to drive the 5 miles to arrive by 7:40 AM for “Hall Duty”.
Efficiently n effectively managed five classes of 30 and some odd students of roaring hormones age, all while imparting much yearned for knowledge into their often wandering minds, until that ‘dismissal’ bell finally rings and you are free at last… to collect all the classwork to bring home to evaluate... if you are proficient you can trim the ‘at home’ time to 2 minutes times 90 papers… after the 20 minute drive…
Now, you can watch the 6 o’clock news, if you recorded it, and hear about these “troubled” students showing up at schools with guns and shoot’n up Teachers…
I’m surprised more teachers gotten crazy n begun showing up at schools with a gun and shoot’n…
A lot of my Christian friends believe this is all happening just the way that God planned it.
I asked them if they never think that He ever looks down on us and says, “Well, Me Dammit. I didn’t know they were going to do that!” ?
