Lindsay Clancy murder trial officially ends in mistrial after lawyer’s Hail Mary appeal denied

PLYMOUTH, Mass. – Lindsay Clancy’s grueling murder trial came to an end Friday when the judge officially declared it a mistrial over a lone juror holdout – despite her lawyer’s desperate 11th-hour bid to block the outcome.

“Members of the jury, at this point I’m going to declare that the jury is deadlocked and I am going to declare a mistrial,” Plymouth Judge William Sullivan said after over 38 hours of deliberation across seven days.

If I read the news correctly, that one lone holdout, was the only one to vote guilty, GOOD FOR THAT JUROR, UNREAL.

IMO, the insanity plea for any reason should be DISALLOWED in a trial. Murdering anyone is an insane act to begin with. So based on that, no one would be found guilty.

What would it be called when a bunch
of our people got together and killed
a bunch of their people; you know,
for political or religious reasons.
