Jekyll's pelt is mostly monochrome, being of blacks, greys, and whites, yet with touches of red. His eyes are a striking shade of green, diverging from the colour of his pelt, adding to the illusion of a sharper mind. He's slimmer than bulky, and taller than average, but not particularly tall, nor unusually skinny. His fur is often tangled, for he cares little for appearances, and is often be lost within his own mind. In public, he has a quieter mannerism, whereas in private he is often enthusiastic and engaged, or contemplative of the theoretical.

~ Reserved ~
He refrains from being boorish, and wishes others to do so as well. Jekyll may prefer his own company, but he doesn’t lack social skills completely, and seeks engaging conversation where he can find it. He believes in civility, the basic politeness of two equals, all wolves being inherently equal, for any inequality is purely subjective. Especially since this offers the path of least resistance, for others are neither seeking your company, nor are concerned or offended with you. That being said, some may say this trait is contradictory with his other traits.
He tends to withdraw from anyone he doesn’t understand, and who doesn’t understand him, which is most others. He hates small talk, it bores him greatly, although participates in it because it’s more effort to diverge. However, he will try to avoid social situations in the first place because of this, preferring to stay within his own mind.
He refrains from saying too much in a group because he can think clearer, and because he dislikes when others talk for extended times needlessly, but also because he doesn't wish to give anything away. He's a very private individual, partly from not seeing a need for others to know his business in most cases, but also partly born of a cynical view of the world and others.
Yet, if someone was to observe closely, they might notice that his avoidance of relationships and some personal questions is a little more sinister than simple dislike of company and emotions.
~ Mind ~
He has an active and engaged mind, and is always searching for greater knowledge. Jekyll enjoys rigorous debate with a like minded individual, and thrives on mental simulation. In fact, mental simulation is what he seeks above all else, his purpose in life. He can often sit alone absolutely still for days, cooking off, only thinking, in a philosophical trance. Then other times, he can run around in an enthused frenzy, working on his current idea or theory.
He has great enthusiasm for whichever project he’s currently working on, be it a water transportation system, or a cure for the common cold, or a theory / debate on why every action ever taken can be called selfish, or testing whether this reality is real. He often jumps between projects, and has many on the go, although he will only share these with the few he judges to be able to understand, because for all of his lack of interest, he is concerned about others not accepting his ideas.
~ Logical ~
He views his logical ways as positive, however this often causes issues in his life. For instance, he is often unable to understand what motivates others on any level. He can decipher another wolf and wolves in general, in many cases, yet can be blind in other situations, especially with social norms. Jekyll may not even realise the growing anger or upset of someone he’s talking to, and when he does, he won’t understand why, his coolness aggravating the other even more.
Additionally, he has often been called contrary, but as he would say, he only points out their inaccuracies because he cares. For people he cares not for, he certainly wouldn’t go to the bother, especially when most react negatively. That being said, sometimes he doesn’t understand the social norms, and will share an opinion being controversial or incredibly different, usually for the worst, and he won’t understand why what he said causes shock or offense. This is one of the reasons why he has withdrawn somewhat from society, not understanding others, and they not understanding him.
Yet, his logicality can often be used for good. For example, he can quickly filter through information, discarding what he views as illogical, to find the most efficient solution. Additionally, his mind is continually working subconsciously to spot the inaccuracies in everything, searching for the truth, which can also be a double-edged sword. Jekyll is also good at finding solutions to problems, as well as seeing each issue and opinion from every angle. Although, this can irritate any who simply wished to talk about their problem, for he doesn't understand why they'd want to share unless they wished for a solution.
He views emotions as irrational, and which negatively effect decisions. He has little emotion naturally, but what he has he can flick on or off on command, using mental tricks. He can do a similar thing for other sensations, such as the cold, for he reasoned that sensations are all in the mind, and hence can be manipulated at will. He naturally has no empathy, in the traditional sense, but of course he’d argue that ‘empathy’ distorts the mind, causing irrationality, and having traditional empathy in fact is less empathetic.
He believes in nihilism, moral, physical, and existential, but specially existential. Hence, he often views life as drifting along, doing whatever is the least effort, for the most engagement. His only driving force is the seeking of truth and knowledge, which is why he pursues this relentlessly. His views on life and death in general may be considered distorted by most, but completely natural to him, his views sometimes causing him to upset others accidentally, something he cannot understand, for he personally is open to debate every single opinion he holds. Others might say he has a cynical view of the world and other people, but he doesn't see it like this, rather he views his and everyone else's opinions as neutral, for the truth is neither good nor bad, it is neutral.
