Great news, everybody. Arctic sea ice coverage is no longer setting new daily record lows!

It's now tied with 2012, the previous daily (and all-time) record setter from July 29 - Oct 17. Melting the past few days 'slowed' to a point now that the daily record streak 2019 was setting since July 22nd is now over! We're saved.
Meanwhile in the Antarctic, ice growth is accelerating to a point where levels are only the 8th lowest since 1979. That's something.
