I think the lux tax threshold should be the goal for every team because every team can afford it

Even the poorest (and I use that term with the firmest tongue in cheek) can afford the biggest salaries. The whole "we cant afford it" is a joke.
And already at a greater than 5% increase over last year
It would be pretty surprising to see them make any large free agent outlays without removing payroll.
If you want to believe that ownership should put more into the team thatís probably fair but if you think that they are going to increase payroll by a significant portion I think you will be sorely disappointed.
Cards wonít be players for any major free agents unless they remove payroll first The luxury tax is clearly not the threshold for them
