But rather, a depressed feeling that things aren't working and Underwood is on a path where he will get fired, sooner or later, without having built the program back at all. The future is uncertain, though, and maybe there will be some lightbulb going on moment for this team, and they'll start playing a lot better. But there's not really much reason to think that at this point. It seems like we have the same serious problems we had the past two years, which is going to prevent the team from amounting to much. Last night...that loss...not only does it make it harder for us to make the tournament, but it also suggests that we maybe haven't grown that much...we were losing to teams like Miami at home last year...and the year before. That's the issue. If you lose the Miami games, and Missouri game, and you lose against Michigan and Maryland this week, and then you lose a couple games you shouldn't during Big Ten season....WE DON'T MAKE THE TOURNEY. And that's not really acceptable at this point. That's why you're hearing people say "fire the coach".
