If you look at a place like San Francisco that doesn't have an economy driven as much by housing, our unemployment rate is down in the 3's as well as opposed to over 5%.
But that's just my uneducated guess at an answer.
For the California posters here, seems odd that California under the great Gavin Newsom has an unemployment rate of 5.3% vs the 3.8% national rate.
Meanwhile Florida sitting at 3.1%. Weird.
