wants to play with her friends. It is a little bit easier for her, because her school is obviously a powerhouse. My next one will come in as a freshman next year while the eldest will be a senior. The incoming freshman is the one that has received a call up from USWNT U-15. So, there will be a lot of pressure on her too, to play year round. But, she wants to play for her school and she really wants to play for one year with her big sister.

But, a good example is the 3A school we played (and beat) over the weekend. Big school from the suburbs. Historically very good soccer program. That school has two power 5 committed players. One plays for the school and the other plays only for club.

We have always thought it would be sad not to play for your school, if your school can be competitive.

I know your daughter is elite level and upon reflection I was a bit surprised she was allowed to play HS. I know several kids in ECNL, MLS Next, etc. and the best boys aren't allowed to play HS.

Finished the regular season 20-1-1. Only loss was outside of Illinois to a team out of Milwaukee. Third consecutive undefeated conference championship. Second consecutive regular season undefeated in Illinois. My girl played holding mid and shut down every other teams D1 players, while still scoring 16 goals and tallying 15 assists. Big old bullseye on the girls headed into playoffs. State Championship or bust.
