The worst I ever saw was a 2-piece with only a bass and drums

don't remember the name but they opened for, I think, The Strokes, (could have been White Stripes) who were also one of the most boring bands I've ever seen. Other acts I've seen that were incredibly boring: Weezer, Eric Clapton, Johnny & the Leisure Suits (for all you WLUP listeners from 30+ years ago). I saw The Who 2 years ago and they were pretty boring, but I'll give them a pass because 1) they're old and 2) the were awesome when I saw them circa 1989-90
