He had an independent shop and I bought my 944 in 2000 and sold it back to him in 2003 when it became evident that I cannot fit a baby car seat in the back. I went back up there in September to check out a 944 and a 928 but passed. He was looking old, frail and on O2. I would still often check his website to see if the cars I considered were sold and if he had others.
Just now, I checked for the first time in a few weeks and found the website down. I looked him up on the internets assuming he died, just the other day May 30th. His age seemed to fit and he was in SE Pennsylvania which is where he lived and worked. But the obit didn’t mention his business or his love of Porsches.
So, I did some more searching and found his actual obit that contained his shop and cars. Turns out he actually died 15-May.
Two guys, roughly the same age with the exact first and last name (his last name in kind of unique) die 15 days apart in the same general part of SE Penna. Crazy.
