Damn, that’s a great album. It was my favorite for a year or two in high school, but after college I’d kind of put it aside. Not really for any music-related reason, but more because I was moving away from the normal angsty, self-obsessed, miserable teenager that I’d been, and I especially identified this album with that emotional period. And I was thinking the subject wasn’t really anything I cared about as an adult

But going back to it, just plain musically it is awesome. And while I wouldn’t wallow in it and listen to it 3 times per week like when I was 15, it still holds up on the subject/lyrics side, too.
