What about a .218 batting average with a 38% K rate in AAA (after a full season of hitting .214 at the same level last year) makes them think he’s ready to face MLB pitching? Is it just a shit or get off the pot situation where they are sick of waiting to find out if he’ll ever figure it out so they don’t really care if they fuck up his development?
