It was a crazy beatdown. My friend rented this big hall on the South Side and we had
a huge Texas Hold 'em tournament and the groom was the first to lose and went out on the first hand. It was hilarious. Yours truly made the final table. Finished 4th out of 65. A proud moment. We all watched Manny and Co. look sad on tv. Quite the turnaround. Previous Message and then spent the next full week on the East Coast before the wedding the following weekend. It was crazy to see how that series changed. Previous Message had just gone down 3-0 against the Yankees after getting completely blown out. I was sitting by the tunnel and a Redskins player noticed my Rashaan Salaam jersey and mocked me. Great memories.
