There's a reason why "woman-child" isn't a term anyone uses. Dudes are the ones who tend to take too long to grow up, especially famous dudes like Barry Keoghan, who is the main inspiration for the song.

It's probably true that a male singer would face some pushback if they released a song about stereotypical female behavior that may or may not have a kernel of truth behind it. For instance, could "Gold Digger" be released without controversy in 2025?
