Oh god I’m still scarred from this live action Disney movie I saw as a kid

It’s called “Follow Me, Boys” and it’s about this guy who becomes a Boy Scout leader. The father of one of the boys in the troop is the town drunk. They’re having some ceremony and the dad shows up loaded and brings these cartons of ice cream with him. They start melting all over everything and everyone and it causes this big scene. I felt so bad for the kid (who IIRC was played by a young Kurt Russell).
