A Cubs team that was still objectively one of the best teams in baseball record-wise but suddenly became unwatchable offensively, all while a Brewers team that theoretically shouldn’t be as good literally wouldn’t lose a game.
With Abbott going tomorrow, we could be quickly nearing the point where the Mets and Padres are the teams we should be focusing on more. If we can’t catch the Brewers, would be nice to at least be at home for the wild card series. Still have a couple game lead in that regard.
