Until a week ago I thought it was an actual minor league baseball team

Like I saw on Twitter that the “Savannah bananas” sold out 50,000 seats somewhere and I was like why are they playing these stadiums, and why do people care? But I never actually looked into it. Then my barber told me what they actually were when they were in town last week and it made so much more sense. Previous Message Selling out both baseball and football stadiums instantly with massive resale prices. Crazy to see a 100% jam packed crowd at Comiskey full of people wearing yellow Savannah Bananas merch. The guy who started this must have a Scrooge McDuck pile of gold that he swims in.
