A CD will pay more than 3.3%
Don't know if that's an option in an IRA. Or an ultra short ETF like SGOV would work. Granted the dividend yield (now 4.3%) will go down but so will your 3.3%. Equities are a crap shoot; I think they are going down but I've been wrong before. At least add some international exposure such as VXUS.  Previous Message
I got in my IRA…
51.5% (tech heavy) equities
40% in cash earning 3.3%
8.5% in gold ETF
in my IRA. Should I liquidate more in expectation of ‘sell the news’ drop or am I just fine and just ride it out? I could always use that cash once the market drops 10%
