I think Mader's is some what of an icon, but it was really busy. We ended up at one of the many other German places on that block. It was fine.

We also did Cafe Benelux (for breakfast) and The Edison. Both were nice.

Swingin' Door Exchange was also a lot of fun, but it was somewhat dampened (pun intended) in a massive rain storm when we were sitting outside.
