eventually to a more normal job. most of those who do make $1M+ in full comp don't do keep doing it until they're retired. they hit the reset button, a lot of them, in their 30s. at least that's what I've found. it's not the worst trade in the world, IMO.  Previous Message
...it's that they've somehow moved that founders mindset bullshit on to straight salary W-2 employees.
If you're a business / corporation owner...starting your own business...by all means, work 75-80-90 hours a week. If you're collecting a salary, why the fuck are you working 80 hour weeks? Why are you devoiding your life of friends, family, hobbies, enjoyment...so that some actual founder can flip his business in 4 years and your new owners can make you redundant?
