And to answer Chilango’s question, yes, but the cameras only got activated once the alarm went off. So I only have footage of the guy driving away. And it was at night time and only stop motion footage.
The insurance companies initial estimate based on Photos and the app was $2800.
Took it to the BMW dealer, body shop, which luckily was one of the preferred body shops for my insurance company, so they can’t complain. BMW dealership body shop gave me an estimate for $7800. They also said it would take until December 20 to get the car back. Luckily, they just texted me and told me the car was ready today. Unluckily, (Or actually luckily I think) we are in the Canadian Rockies until Sunday.
