Not the least of which because I think Ekitike is the most exciting player in the squad right now and Isak has predictably taken all his minutes without any play to justify taking those minutes. It's baffling to me that the 2 players that appear to be in the best form (Chiesa and Ekitike) have been held to only 20-30 mins per match.

The real issue with all the off-season acquisitions is that they don't go with Slot's style. They are all mostly direct players playing in a style that builds out of the midfield. And we let go of Diaz who was the best at stretching the opponents defensive midfield and creating space for our offensive midfield to hold possession and create opportunities.
