I'm not talking about, "I really should clean out that junk drawer." I'm talking about something that constantly affects you, that is relatively easy to fix, yet you just ride out.
Guy
Things like a dripping faucet, a noisy garage door spring, or an outside gate that no longer latches properly so you have to lift up the gate every time you open and close it.
Mine: I have a leak in our pool. I know this because I have to add fresh water at least twice/week. That's bad enough, but leaking water somehow pools near the fence line, so there is a perpetual muddy patch in our yard.
Again, bad enough, but the dog likes to walk through the mud such that every time she went out and came back in, I'd have to wipe her paws. Eventually, I got tired of that and decided to cover the puddle with plywood.
I've been riding this out for over a year now. All I have to do is pick up my phone and call the pool leak detection guy to come out, find the leak, and fix it.
Nope, apparently that would take too much effort.
