that's what I imagine an embarrassing dad from the 90s or early 2000s would look like, since they would have grown up with those kinds of shorts in the 70s and early 80s.
but a millennial dad? they would have grown up with super baggy shorts. that would have been more era appropriate while still yielding the cringe response from the daughter
