I've gotten the Milwaukee route and a couple of years ago for $199 got:
1 - M18 Compact 1/4" Hex Impact Driver
2 - M18 18V 5 Amp rechargeable batteries
1 - Battery charger
I use the impact driver for pretty much everything, tough there are other cordless drills. I just already have a Metabo (was Hitachi) drill.
Last year I did the same deal but got the air compressor as my tool.
2 years ago, I got a kit with 1 battery, but the leaf blower and pole saw tools.
Decent way to accumulate tools, batteries, and chargers.

should be sufficient for basic home use, right? of course i'd probably rather have milwaukee, dewalt or makita, but i can't justify the price difference for what i'd need it for around the house
looks like the lineup has everything i'd need...blower, pole saw, multi-tool, etc.
