The Deuce: I’m frustrated at feeling like we’re again not quite getting over the hump to compete at this level.

But our expected best player who many had rated preseason as a top 20 player in all of college basketball is borderline unplayable in both of these 2 losses (assuming we don’t come back).

Tomi won’t fix our athleticism or many of our defensive issues, but it’s still a significant disruption to the plan given how much of this roster was built around him.

Excited to watch, but worried. UConn looked damn good against AZ, and they’re gonna come out swinging.

Do we hit our 3’s? That’s the only path to victory, IMO.

Let’s see if we can exact a bit of revenge from a few years ago. And if we can do that in the Flyin’ Illini Blues…all the better.
