1. Each kid has one family that we'd basically trust them with their lives...so for those families, it's more like extended families and I'd be ok with it.

2. I'd be MORE inclined if it were like "I'm staying at X friends house" but all of these have been with my 10 year old daughters friends and like 7 other girls. Even without spending the night, she comes home exhausted, there's been some type of catty drama between them, and ahhhhh generally just fuck that. What of consequence is going to happen between 11pm and 7am that gets any better for you? Nada.

3. I don't want to open the door to like 8 kids staying at my house. NO THANKS / NOT HAPPENING.

I'm sure there's other things but these are the ones that jump out at me. If you're not in the "would you care for my kids if I died group" of people...my kids don't need to spend the night at your house.
