I had kind of forgotten they were only ranked #20 at the end of last regular season

In my mind I was remembering them being a top 5-ish team last year.
I know Cluff was a coveted transfer that they added, but Loyer/Smith/TKR were as close to finished products as you’ll ever see in college. So I wonder if it was aggressive to think another year together would elevate them from a top 20 team to a preseason #1 team.
