We passed out 100 pairs in about 4 blocks. A few notes:

1. People really really like / need clean and dry socks…if you’re looking for any direct action donations. Lots of “stay in school and mind your father” or “god bless you” comments.
2. Even people that had visible drugs (nearly everyone) said “kid! kid!” When they saw us and palmed it or put it away.
3. It’s a good reminder for him (and myself) how good we actually have it.
4. Also about the most effective anti-drugs commercial ever.

Anyway, that’s our Sunday. Then we split to North Beach and split pasta and a cannoli.
