1. It's the Man U Tottenham match. The instigator is a Man U fan (and fellow UIUC alum) but other buddy is a neutral. I assume that if I sit with them, don't cheer for Tottenham (externally) and wear a neutral color (thinking of an orange Illini shirt), I won't get killed. Am I right?

2. Found a really cheap premium economy flight to London on Delta (40,000 skypesos) so will need to take the train. Getting into LHR at 09:00 GMT Friday and game is on Saturday afternoon. I assume my best route is to take the train from London to Manchester that day. Right?

3. On the return, should I take the night train from Manchester to London and stay in London Saturday night? Or should I take a morning train from Manchester to London on Sunday? Flight is at 15:50 on Sunday out of LHR. Thoughts on train reliability and getting from Euston to Heathrow if I choose a Sunday train?
