When it comes to PBS for example, WTTW in Chicago, CPB only accounted for ~8% of their budget and its similar in Seattle, but go to Bunker Hill, KS it's over 42%, Midland TX it's over 45%....NPR is even worse in some cases, as much as nearly 80% can come from CPB in it's tiniest markets, which have few to no other options for local news.
