They aren't looking into how to prevent this going forward. There wasn't "We need to look into how and why this awful tragedy happened and how we can prevent it going forward."
Instead they immediately smear the victim, right up to the President himself so they can keep doing this to others.
To them, this terror is a feature, NOT a bug.
