Defeating both Cam Norrie and Gio Mpetshi Perricard back to back this week are no easy tasks. So kudos to Aleks for those wins. He has a tough semi matchup later today against Brandon Nakashima.

If he can win that then he'll find himself in the Top 50 (#47 according to the ATP Live Rankings). Outside of Kevin Anderson I don't think I recall any Illini alum that has ever made the Top 50 world rankings before.

Pretty awesome to see!
