On one hand it clearly makes sense. Wagler was 9-11 from three and the rest of the team was 5-23. Make someone else beat you.
But he could have made that decision at any point in the prior 36 minutes too. And if there was ever a time to ride it out, it’s when you can bank on the kid finally being gassed after carrying the team for 36 minutes.
