As for the second comment, Trump has been the person he is since the 80's, and just keeps getting worse and worse, so any notion that he was ever going to become "Presidential" was naive at best and absurd at worst. The history books will have no idea how to write about Trump.

1: March 2020, out to dinner the Friday prior to the state closing down all restaurants 9 days later - “I wonder how much the restaurants are going to take a hit due to people being scared to go out to eat.”
2: Election night 2016 when it became obvious that Trump had won - “I guess this means he’s going to have to stop tweeting now that he’s President.”
It’s hard to remember back to the societal norms that existed prior to that night in 2016.
