There's not a lot of skill at the top, Gavin Newsom recently backed down to freaking Ben Shapiro about this kind of stuff.
We are suffering from too little imagination and courage. Republicans have built an outrage machine that runs 24/7 and we will be at the mercy of it for as long as I can see.
