2nd matchup vs. the Nerds.

NW is bad. 1-6 in Q1 bad, 1-4 in Q2 bad. This is the beginning of a four Q1 game stretch for them (@Illinois, @Iowa, vs. Michigan, @Nebraska) so they're gonna wanna steal this one. Their record @ Illinois over the past 10 seasons is 1-9 (with their lone win coming in 2023...the Jayden Epps and Matthew Mayer season).

Illinois is doing kinda well...not sure you've noticed. 6 in the NET, 5 in the AP. This is a Q2 game for us. Need to get it.

That's honestly about all it is. Will say one thing...while the Washington game last week was a hard game to watch (not a lot of rhythm, shots not going down, lots of fouls, they would score right after we did), Imma gonna cap on the Krush a bit. Hey Krush...your job is to be loud THE WHOLE GAME. To stand up and be obnoxious THE WHOLE GAME. That was not happening against Washington. There were tons of times the Krush were SILENT. So be better, Krush. Make the Nerds feel the homecourt advantage, please.
