which really took me by surprise (even though perhaps it shouldn't have) given that my day to day existence is largely child free. It's a nice reminder to be exposed to children once in a while as a reminder that we absolutely made the right decision in not having them. I'm sure having children is extremely rewarding, but JFC I could barely handle a few hours. It doesn't help that when kids get around other kids they get all jacked up.
