Someone stole a couple million dollars worth of cards from an office at their arena. Also, as noted in the article, "The collaboration so far has resulted in some notable chaos. Resellers have flocked to arenas, camping outside to buy cards from exiting fans, and even reportedly caused some physical confrontations." Hopefully we are prepared for this.

I learned about this last week, but there is some Anime trading card craze going on now and they decided to do an exclusive card giveaway at a handful of colleges this year.
The Michigan game is one of them, and you can get an exclusive card that has been selling for hundreds of dollars online after Rutgers had their game. And it caused that Rutgers game to be sold out with huge ticket resale prices because of people buying tickets just to get the card.
So that’s part of the reason the resale prices for the Michigan game are so crazy, and there will likely be a non-insignificant number of tickets sold to people who have no interest in basketball and likely won’t even stay for the game itself.
I want to break it up
I want to smash it up
I want to #### it up
I want to watch it come down![]()
