One of the things AI is least capable in is searching the internet, in my opinion. Not that it can’t, just that it’s only ok.

But it should be great at suggesting new industries and roles for you. Feed it your experience and interests. Explain it in detail and like a human, not just uploading your resume. What do you like about your current work? What do you hate? Then it’s a conversation. Explain that role to me more, how does that role work with this other one in that industry, ask follow ups, push back, say when you think it’s mischaracterizing what you’re looking for, etc.

It sounds weird, but just converse with it. The more context it receives, the more you will hone in on decent recommendations that could work. Prompting is extremely important in getting good output from AI, but it’s also not rocket science.
