I don’t think the Israelis care. They might actually prefer a failed state to any other option. Certainly would prefer that to a stable democracy, I think. They are already a fortress state on a war footing with their neighbors, who don’t care in the slightest about humanitarian catastrophes. A stable Iran is a potential threat, so better civil war, mass refugees flows, millions dead.
