Like Bert says, player removal is a thing. We must do that with Tomi.

He's more or less the same player he was last year. Slightly down in most areas but not substantially so, and a lot of that is probably the result of lower usage.
The point being, while he's a shell of himself at this moment, that really hasn't been the case over the entire year. We more or less (slightly less) got the player we paid for.
Which raises the question of why we went all in on Tomi. And some of this is a hindsight thing--my recollection is that the fanbase thought this was the right move too. But looking at his numbers last year, they weren't insanely good then either, especially his shooting numbers.
One shudders to think where we'd be if Keaton and Mirk hadn't turned out to be the surprises they have been, and really raises a lot of red flags about this roster build--it really seems the staff completely lucked into this. 3 or our 4 top targets have more or less been busts, or at best replacement level guys.

Don't know who we play, but would love another shot at Wisconsin. And would feel pretty good against Washington if they happen to knock Bucky off this afternoon.
Does a loss drop us to the 3 line? Does a win (no matter who it is) solidify us on the 2 line?
Chance for redemption arc here...beat Wisconsin Friday, beat Michigan Saturday, beat MSU Sunday. We shall see.
