We've shot .443 from the floor in our 12 games against top 8 seeds. In our last five (all losses), the average is .441.
Our opponents' shooting is equally consistent, .465 across all 12 games and .463 in the last five.
Our three-point shooting is .338 in those 12 games and dips to .327 in the last five, but our opponents were .359 overall and .344 in the same period, so the shooting results infinitesimally a net positive.
On the glass we've outrebounded our opponents by 24 in those 12 games, but only by four total in the last five. Our offensive rebounding is +20 in the 12 games but only +5 in the last five.
As mentioned all over the game thread, we are really one rebound, made FT, foul not called, etc. from having won many of these games. It's just that because we haven't (and worse we've blown healthy leads in four of them), it all compounds and feels like something else. The stats say it's bad luck and over time it'd start to even out. But we have no time left. It has to be now.
