I absolutely know we’re capable of winning it even if I’m not super optimistic, but I think my mind is just subconsciously not allowing myself to drift to the happy place.

Because my god, if we can beat Houston and only be an Iowa or Nebraska win away from a Final Four in Indy??? Especially with how the regular season ended, it just feels like the magnitude of the opportunity has crept on us quickly due to the shocking exit of our #1 seed. Totally different feeling than the Iowa State S16 game where you knew it would take a Herculean effort to win the next one even if we got past them.
